Whiteside Mfg was founded in 1954 with nothing more than determination and an $800 start. Our father embodied the true American Dream! He earned this money to start this business by officiating high school basketball. That modest beginning launched what has become a lifelong pursuit of the American Dream: building something meaningful, lasting, and respected. In the early years, it was simply our father, his mother and our mother – a true family business.
From day one, his mission was clear: build the finest garage equipment in the Professional Tool world. Starting with creepers and quickly expanding into professional technician seating, our parents set a foundation rooted not only in craftsmanship, but in faith, integrity, and doing things the right way, values that continue even today to guide everything we do.
What began in a two-car garage has grown into more than 100,000 square feet of manufacturing space, supported by strategic regional suppliers and global partnerships. While we’ve expanded our reach, we have never taken our eyes off what got us here quality, durability, and pride in what we build.
